Shadowplay is a combination of two previously separate companies: Phil James Photography and PJP Video. On Monday 31st January, they joined forces and changed their name to Shadowplay Media LTD, and now specialise in Film, Video, Photography, CGI and Retouching. My role was to help create the branding, website and print aspects of the business for a launch in June 2011. Having quite a large role on the retouching side of Phil James Photography was an advantage moving forward and creating artwork for shadowplay, and having web design as a skill also fell in my favour as I was drafted to create the studio website, encompassing shadowplay’s 3 main disciplines of STILL (Photography) MOVING (Video) and CGI, a realitively new venture for the company.
Along with the website there were mousemats, stationary, duratran lightboxes, business cards and brochures that were made all before the launch on the 16th June. Shadowplay is still now my biggest client and I have a very good amount of input in every project that comes my way, and I’m the first port of call when it comes to retouching.
